Terry's first investment property was in Singapore—a practical beginning that established the conviction to keep learning the business.
He built capital through the US financial crisis, then made his first US investment in late 2011.
Minnesota acquisitions with partners led to 40 single-family homes and the construction of a Brooklyn Park multifamily property Terry still owns and manages.
A second multifamily development and staged portfolio sales made room for commercial property in Minnesota and a Florida property.
The work expanded into commercial ownership, partnership-owned industrial property in Fargo and Moorhead, and family-run truck parking.
Latch Co. is the holding company for the next stage of Terry's work: carrying forward a history of real-estate ownership and operations, alongside selected partnerships and ventures.
The name LATCH brings together the Lagerquist family names, reflecting the people and long-term view behind the work.
Terry also supports Critical Co., a venture that helps growing businesses. Future partner relationships will be introduced here as they become part of the Latch Co. story.
